How to make a mobile check deposit:
When you receive a paper check, endorse the back of the check with your signature and write, “For Mobile Deposit Only” and your account number. Then, simply follow the step-by-step on-screen instructions to capture images of the front and back of the check.
If your check is not properly endorsed, your deposit may be delayed or rejected.
Tips for using mobile check deposit:
- Keep the actual check for at least 30 days in case an issue needs to be resolved.
- The daily deposit limit is $3,000. If you need a higher limit, please contact us.
- Sign/endorse the back of your check and write, “For Mobile Deposit Only” and your account number.
- Take the photos of your check in a well–lit area.
- Place the check on solid, dark background before taking the photo of it.
- Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking photos.
- Hold the camera as square to the check as possible to reduce corner-to-corner skew.
- Keep the check within the viewfinder on the camera screen when taking your photos.
- Try not to include too much of the area surrounding the check.
- Make sure the entire check image is visible and in focus before submitting the deposit.
- Make sure the MICR line (the numbers on the bottom of your check) is readable.
