Tell us a little about you!
About 6 years ago I joined the FNB family in Arcadia. I am a native of the nearby community of Comstock where I enjoy living close to my “roots” in farming and ranching. My family includes my husband Patrick, and our two adult children Samantha and Cody. Personal Banking has been my second job for over 19 years. Some of my interests include gardening, running, reading, grandparenting, and volunteering in many projects that keep our little community vibrant!
What is your current role at First Nebraska Bank?
Currently my role includes wearing many hats- never a dull moment! I offer customer service at the teller line, I help with online banking challenges, and assist customers with new accounts. I am part of a group that offers video banking services to our customers.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about my job here at First Nebraska Bank has to be HELPING our customers to solve banking challenges! To me, nothing compares to making someone’s day less complicated. I enjoy seeing new banking relationships grow and evolve over time. Banking is personal for me!
What do you think sets First Nebraska Bank apart from other financial institutions?
First Nebraska Bank has set itself apart from other financial institutions by implementing the latest technology available. I am so glad to say that we are not left behind in the dark age of banking! Video banking at FNB has become a valuable method of offering the immediate solutions that today’s consumer requires without compromising confidentiality or compliance. Our ITM group ensures that we can be available for our community banking needs for extended hours as well. It’s not just the technology that sets us apart, it is our network of kind and knowledgeable employees.
If you weren’t in this career, what could you see yourself doing?
If I was not involved in banking I would be actively volunteering in local interests and community projects! I would make sure to set aside plenty of time for youth projects, and church activities.
What song are you most likely jamming out to on a Friday afternoon?
My playlist includes The Avett Brothers, True Sadness (which, by the way, is not sad at all!)
