Tell us a little about you!
I grew up in Nebraska and have lived in Columbus with my husband and son for 5 years. I started my banking career 8 years ago as a personal banker, but most of my career has been in lending. I accepted my role as a Mortgage Loan Officer with First Nebraska Bank in 2022 because I wanted to work for a bank that allowed me to give back to the community where I am raising my family. I enjoy volunteering my time at my son’s school and participating in other activities that support our community. In my free time you can find me reading a book, daydreaming about the beach, or spending quality time with my boys playing Pokémon GO!
What is your current role at the bank?
I am a Mortgage Loan Officer and Facility Manager at the Columbus location.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite part about my job is that it doesn’t feel like work at all. I truly look forward to helping our customers every day. Nothing brings me more excitement than helping someone achieve their goals whether it’s their first home purchase, a new car, or an equity loan to renovate their existing property.

If you weren’t in this career, what could you see yourself doing?
Growing up I never planned on being a banker, but once I started this journey, I knew the career path was made for me. If I wasn’t a banker, I would want to be a therapist. I am understanding, I enjoy helping people, and I hope to make a lasting positive impact.
What song are you most likely jamming out to on a Friday afternoon?
It’s impossible to choose just one as music is a passion of mine. My son would definitely have us jamming out to Believer by Imagine Dragons on repeat.
